Punggol Waterfront Outing

Hi everyone!

Few days back, my bestie Angie, Conan and I went out for an outing. It's been so long since I met them. Well, my fault for kinda neglecting them though, but it was great to see them once more! So, we headed down to Punggol Waterfront to have a look and of course, to snap some nice photos!

When we arrived after walking a short distance, we saw this awesome view in front of us!

It's almost like a man-made river sort of thing. But everything seems so natural and magnificent. Luckily that day it was windy, so it wasn't exactly very tedious and hot for us to walk around. Because we indeed, walked a very LONG distance, but it is definitely worth the effort!

Angie and I went like "Is this all we walked here for?" LOL. And obviously the answer is NO la! So we walked down the slope and continued walking to explore the area, led by our tour guide, Conan, because he came here before haha!

We came across this huge patch of empty grassland and it's such a nice landscape to take photos! People are also flying kites here. No need for all of us to cramp at the Marina Barrage to fly kites anymore HAHA!

Don't waste such a nice view, is like a line in between the sky and the grass!

We walked to this place call Punggol Marina and we came across this area where all the boats and ships are parked at.

Talking about this lalang, it's very funny! Because Conan keep shooting this Lalangs whenever we walked around. There are actually tons of them all around the park area. Personally I feel that it's quite a nice place to have a shoot at!

Then we chilled around for quite some time at the area where we take the boat to Ubin for OBS! The area has been renovated so it looks very nice and modern now!

Further up when we walked, we came across a playground! AND I FOUND SWINGS!!!! Been such a long time since I played with swings!

HAHA and we had a mini "shoot" with the all time favorite, LALANGS! It's funny how we shoot with these because we are afraid of stepping into the bush, you never know what's inside all the bush. So, we kinda did something hilarious to get the above and below effects HAHA!

This ladybug here got the three of us go GAGA and like mad kids haha! It was climbing all around this small stem of plant and three of us keep pointing our cameras at it trying to capture a good photo! This was the best I could get out of it! LOL!

damn scare it climb onto my camera!

We planned to watch the sunset and capture nice photos but we walked a way too far, so didn't make it back in time. Walked back to the OBS jetty location and relaxed there. Surprisingly, we managed to capture part of the sunset, nice scenery, and kids were playing around and the cold wind blowing against us.

After that we bus-ed back to Sengkang and had our dinner before heading home! Gonna meet up with them more often! Not gonna be stupid me, and give up the whole bunch of such good friends over just that matter. Yups, and I am definitely gonna find more of nice locations to shoot scenery and stuff!

Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year! Ok, this post may seem a bit late haha! But I mean CNY is all about the fun we enjoy and what's surprising is that in such a joyous and relatively big occasion, I actually didn't take a lot of photos. So this is mainly just some random photos which I took so as to document it down in my blog.

And really, I am NOT using my blog to advertise or what so ever. It's mainly back to the basics, I just wanna write down what I went through, what I've attended so on and so forth. That simple ^~^

So on the first day of CNY, it is a practice for my family to head down to one of the temple and to offer our offerings to the deities. Well, my wish was damn simple. Just a simple life with no more dramas, hope I can be with my love one, hope my family is healthy and of course, a smooth army life.

I wore this red top, it actually has a bit of the knitted top kinda texture yet I don't feel hot wearing it. So loving it! And it actually costs only like $18, bought in Bugis Street! What's more? It actually has a bit of the Korean feel. Simple yet smart looking!

After visiting the temple, I went to my grannie's house and head home after that. First day of CNY, all relatives will actually come to my house for visiting. So we will cook and stuff to attend to them.Before that I actually took a short nap cos it was damn tiring to wake up early in the morning like 7am to go to the temple.

After a short while, relatives start to reach one by one, and of course, my ringlight was like the main attraction, and we started camwhoring :p

Started to camwhore with my camera and the ringlight! HAHA yes, I changed back to the top cos it looks more....er....photogenic? HAHA. Of course we spam like siao, but I'm not gonna post all here though HAHA!

People always tell me like how I look in real life and so on, looks different in picture. I will actually like to clarify worh. 1) I NEVER photoshop my face, which means liquify or bloat to make my eyes look bigger. 2) It's seriously all about photo taking angle!

People, you just need to find the right suitable angle for yourself to take photo, and you can get relatively nice portraits of yourself! There hardly any need for photoshop! That explains why my face looks kinda like nut shaped while in real life it's kinda big.

This year, my daddy cooked curry chicken! And it can be used as a side dish to go along with rice, or it can act as a base for curry chicken noodles/bee hoon/ kway teow! HAHA! Lots of choices for my relatives to choose from this time round!

After eating and clearing up, it's time to earn some good money other than ang baos!
We played ban luck which mean Black Jack! Hee hee! Always love such moments when the whole family gather together to play, talk nonsense and have fun!

Not long after, baby Vera arrived! AND OMFG, SHE'S SO FREAKING CUTE!!!! And guess what, she is like only 5 months old, yet she is wearing the clothes of a one year old baby! GOSH! Cute max!!!

My favorite, green tea gua zi! HAHA! I always eat it down with the shells also LOL!

That's all about it for my first day of Chinese New Year!

And for second day, I went to Edward's house for visiting and playing! I wore damn simple just a tee and jeans, cos it's freaking hot la!

His friends taught me how to play Baccarat, and man it's so much easier than Black Jack, and gosh won quite a lot from there! But I'm not gonna spend it, just gonna save up the money!

And lastly, third day I went to cousin Amelia's house! And I wore my favorite red checkered top from Japan's FOREVER 21! And even with layering, I don't feel hot at all eh!

I taught my cousin and her dad how to play Baccarat and gosh, everyone got hooked onto it! AND of course, easy money was made too :p Won another round of big amount of cash! HAHA!

Yup, that kinda summarises my CNY! Usually all the fun and stuff occurs in the first three days! So I really enjoyed myself! It's more of the gatherings with everyone whom you hardly see at times that matter most. Indeed, I have no idea why my number of red packets start to decrease each and every year..Hmmm..

But like I've said before, red packets is not really all about the money, although of course, the more the merrier, it's more of the well wishes that was given to us by the giver as they pack each and every single red packet. And with that, I really come to realise that as one grows older, we tend to think things differently and we all have different perspectives.

Wishing everyone the best of luck for the year ahead! For those JC1 students who are gonna start their orientation very soon, do work hard and not play too much!!! And all the best to my friends who are in JC2, give it all your best! GOGOGO!

Interesting Stuffs From Daiso

Ok hello to everyone! First of all, I wanna wish all of you all a Happy Chinese New Year!

And as you can see from the title of this post, it has totally NOTHING to do with my reunion dinner or Chinese New Year. Well, I will blog about it later, as I finish editing the photos and blog while I wait for relatives to come to my house. For now, I will just update about Daiso!

Well well, Daiso is like a freaking famous outlet within Singapore because all the stuffs are selling at like $2 ONLY! And what's amazing is that, some really fabulous products are selling at that cheap price too! So here are some which I find it rather amazing and I've practically been using them for quite some time though.

So here there are:

The one in the above you see is actually a facial wipe with aloe vera content as stated by it la. Recently I actually run out of it and went to Daiso outlets to find it but apparently I can't find it at all. So I got another one, which is like a bigger tube, in a cylinder shaped casing. But that is totally not good at all so I don't bother posting it.

Anyway, the one in the above picture is mad fabulous! It smells damn nice and it actually removes all the dirt on your face. I usually use it after I come back from outside. You all should know right, going out will results like all the dust particles to lie on our face etc. Girls can actually use is as a makeup remover as well!

Highly recommended!

These two products are actually quite interesting to me when I first saw them! Both are actually hair products and one is for damage care, and the other is for fragrance!

This damage care product actually moisturises our hair as we know that most Singaporean, especially teenagers actually go dye our hair etc and that actually damages our hair which results in dry hair. So it is very important for us to take good care of our hair.

You DO NOT want to go out of your house, with your hair looking like a broom. Totally major turnoff.

This hair care product actually smells good as well and it is not very oily too as some hair care products are mad oily. And with only $2 we can actually get this damage care product, I think it's worth it and so far, it isn't that bad after using it for like 2 weeks or so? Yups!

This hair fragrance thing is where you will drop out the fragrance onto your palm and then you brush it through your hair with your hands. Hmmm...I'm not very sure about this and I only used it for like once. Personally I feel that it is more suitable for the ladies, I guess. Cos of the scent but I think my own shampoo actually smells much stronger and nicer than this.

So, I won't really be getting this again. But you ladies can go try it out!

This wood scent thingy is actually my MOST FAVORITE ITEM in Daiso! They work like wonders! People will be thinking like "$2 only, better don't expect much! I spent so much on expensive scents and also never make my room smell nicer lo!"

WRONG! This $2 wood scent actually makes your whole freaking room smells damn nice! Especially the lavender ones! See arh, with just $2, you not only can make your whole room smell nice, you can also get some good nice sleep because lavender helps to soothe one's mind down!

Love love! That's why every time I go to Daiso, sure get a lot to restock one! GO TRY IT!

Last of all is this whole series of charcoal facial mask product! Japan actually is quite well known for their charcoal products! Like in department stores you can even find people selling charcoal pillow, bolster, toothpaste, toothbrush and many more! And Daiso is well known for this series of charcoal facial product!

And many of my friends and I actually find that it is not that bad! Seriously worth a try! And most of the time, they are SOLD OUT!

This is the cleansing foam and I find that after using it, the skin actually feels relatively smoother compared to before usage. And I actually quite like the smell of it! And for $2, I think this cleansing foam is definitely a good substitute for those expensive max products which we've been using for so long!

This is the cleansing cream. Actually I do not know what is the difference between this and the cleansing foam. But this is like the dry version. Means we do not need to rinse off with water. We just apply it to our face and after like 15-20 mins, we can just remove it with a wet facial tissue or so. It works wonder too!

Last but not least, this charcoal mask is the most famous one among all! You just have to simply apply it to our face and leave it there as we proceed to doing our other chores and the mask will actually form itself. After 10-15 mins, we can remove the whole mask from our face and I actually felt refreshed after using it!

Well, I can only describe all these as it is. But ultimately you have to try it before you really get to experience the wonder of these products! I have sensitive skin and using these products actually did not cause any side effects for me. But I am not sure about you guys.

I am NOT saying that all of us are suitable using it ok? So don't blame me arh if you use already and got problems, like whole face swollen etc. So hope you guys are gonna have a fun Chinese New Year celebration for the next few days!

GONG XI FA CAI! WAN SHI RU YI!

Chinese New Year's Reunion Dinner at Crowne Plaza Hotel

Chinese New Year is approaching very soon and I bet that a lot of you are troubling over which restaurant to visit with you dearest ones to have your reunion dinner! Two days back, a few other bloggers and I attended a food tasting session by Crowne Plaza Hotel !

All of them who attended are like food blggers and I kinda felt out of the way intially but luckily CalvinTimo was there to accompnay me.

Anyway that's not important, so Crowne Plaza Hotel is actually situated in Changi Airport itself and I am sure that many of us have seen the hotel in Terminal 3 before. So, the restaurant where the food tasting was held was in Azur, one of the few dining locations in Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Azur is a buffet dining concept built around two show kitchens with chefs presenting a lively multicultural theatre serving the best of the Eastern and Western international cuisines. And this time round, they are going to present to us some specials for the upcoming Chinese New Year, which definitely will WOW you food lovers out there!

Let us first take a look at some of their normal menus for their buffet!

On top of the delicious food presented, the atmosphere of the dining location should also be comfortable to the diners. And Azur definitely achieved that with their cosy and elegant displays of their resturant.

Now let's move on to the 8 course meal that I've tasted that day itself! During CNY, having 鱼生(yusheng) is like a must must as it symbolises 余升 which means an increase in abundance. Of course, this dish is definitely very familiar to all of you.

The plate of YuSheng that was served to us that was big enough to actually feed 20+ people! OMG.

What's special that day was that there is actually Abalone in the YuSheng. Crowne Plaza Hotel actually do provide diners with the abalone with the condition that they actually buy for takeaways. So, it is not available should we dine there.

Also, YuSheng will be served on a buffet basis during the CNY period. This means that diners can actually go to the counter designated and simply tell the chefs that you would like to have a set of YuSheng for _____ pax and the chefs will galdy help to serve you with the appropriate portion to your table. Such convenience!

The chef and the assistant was helping to get everything ready and they also said out what each ingredient symbolises. That is actually a way which we Chinese do it so as to hope for a smooth and prosper year ahead of us!

Salmon skin was also used as part of the ingredients for the YuSheng and Azur only uses imported Norwegian Salmon. On top of that, the YuSheng was served with a special "Ginger Shoyu" dressing that was created by the Head Chef., Alvin Leong.

With that, we all all ready to LAO YUSHENG!!!!!!!!!!

After that we were invited back to our seats, where the other few main specialties for the CNY Festive Season was served to us.
*Do take note that the portions as seen below might not be the actual serving size, since it's a buffet style. But for us since we are seated down for food tasting, everything was carrid out to be so.

This is something like Shark Fin's soup but instead of using Shark Fins, Fish Maw was being used and I have to admit that the sweetness of the whole bowl of delicacy was present and it tasted very smooth to the taste bud. Love it such that I finished the whole bowl!

Next we had this dish called Steamed Garoupa in Pickle Chilli. Because it was prepared with the pickled chilli, it wasn't very spicy. In fact, it was bias towards sweet and sour. For me, I ate it with the red chilli that came along with it, and although the spicy taste wasn't very strong, the overall combination complements one another.

I think that even the elders would love this steamed garoupa. And kids can try it too!

See at the bottom left corner? That is actually pork lard. Yes, this fish was alos prepared with fried pork lards and it wasn't very oily to be honest. I don't really like to eat pork lard and that day was like my few attempts on eating it and I must say that it is not oily like those which we eat at those noodle stalls.

But of course, don't eat too much. High cholestrol orh haha.

This is the Fried Salted Egg Prawns! Normally I don't eat salted egg prawns becaue of the strong salted egg's taste. But this one was prepared differently. Those that I ate outside, the salted egg was in the form of sauce and dressed over the fried prawns. This one definitely tasted more soothing to my taste bud.

This dish of vegetables with sea cucumber and mushroom was very very nice and I loved it a lot as well. The sauce that was prepared with it was very thick and not very salty. I guess it will actually taste very nice with just a simple bowl of white rice hee hee.

This plate of fried rice is different from the normal ones which we eat. Normally when we have fried rice for Chinese meals, they would be in lotus leaves or there will be glutinous rice. But for these non of the two was present. 1) Using lotus leaf is like too normal already so there is a need for change. 2) Glutinous rice was not used as it will be too filling for the stomach after consuming.

Such thoughtful thoughts from the chef!

If you were to look carefully at the fried rice, there are actually pressence of black bits here and there. Don't worry, they are not dirts. They are actually tea leaves! Yes, tea leaves the chef actually fried the rice with tea leaves, so there will be aroma of the light tea leaves as we eat it. The smell wasn't very strong to be honest.

However, after eating it, there will be light scent of the tea leaves. SO I personally feel that the elders will adore this dish. As not only does it taste unique, it also maintains the original Chinese traditional style of cooking, with 3 types of roasted meat in it.

Last but not least is of course the dessert! The ice cream is actually Coconut Gelato and it tasted so yummy and I do not get sick of eating it! You can ask me to eat one whole tub and I will ask for more! It's not to sweet and the light taste of coconut that lingers around after eating it is such a nice feeling!

To strike out a balance for this desserty, fruits were being served along with it! Yummy!

That's all for thr 8 course meal food tasting that we had. Trust me, even with all the small servings, it's more than enough to fill up the tummy of mine! And yes, all of them are available for the CNY Buffet as well! I bet you all are wondering what are the prices now right?

After the food tasting, the hotel personnel was kind and nice enough to bring us around and check out their hotel rooms and suite rooms too!

Yes, the hotel is TOTALLY RIGHT BESDIE the airport runway! And no worries, we cannot ehar a thing once we are in the individual rooms!

The room is designed based on the open concept so as to create the image that the rooms are very big! And they do work on the theme of Frangipani flowers!

This is their suite rooms and it is so freaking big! I think can really hold party and host like 30+ over people!

A walk in wardrobe! Cool for the girls!

The bathroom confirm also the girls' heaven! SO freaing spacious!!! They can spend whole day inside le!

This chair cost S$5000!!! And they had 5 of these inside their private club room! OMG!

Hello everyone! I do know that a lot of youngsters nowadays are actually into dancing. In fact, I do find it very cool to dance as well. Especially after all the K-POP Heat, it's more common to see teenagers getting into dancing.

Sadly, till today I've not really participated in any dancing classes although I have interest in it. But I do know that a lot of you dancers out there are trying to find a platform, a stage which belongs to you and your group, to show the audience what you can really do on stage!

This is YOUR chance NOW young dancers out there! Gatsby is organising their 4th Dance Competition! This time round they are back for more to search for Asia's No. 1 student dancer! This is definitely the time for you all to shine on stage! Not only are the prizes and stage a big deal! Even the judges are enough to blow the minds of ours away!

This time round, Japan's well known and professional dancers, Charisma Kantaro and FISHBOY are both guest judges for this competition! So, even if you didn't make it into the finals, the comments and feedbacks given back by both judges should be very valuable as well! Worth the experience!

Not forgetting our own local talents, we have Chunky and Fredy Kosman to be the judges too! Do read up on all judges' profiles below!

Well well, all I can say is good luck people! Other than luck, you do need some good coordination and teamwork being displayed among your group members and yourself too! All these are possible to achieve, just put in hard work and practice tons with your group members or even by yourself!

Never restrict yourself to the box. Think out of the box and let creativity run wild! But at the same time, do remember to take note of the safety of each and everyone of you all alright?

With pure hard work, coupled with creativity in your dance moves and the in born dancing genes within all of you all, I am sure that you are able to shine on the stage and have your moment of limelight, even IF you are unable to make it to the finals!

On Sunday, I went out with lots of other bloggers for dinner and pool right after my work :D And I really wanna say this for like once and for all ok? Sorry if this has to appear on a happy blog post of my outing.

This Black Pepper Chicken Chop with Spaghetti is a dish which I always eat when I go to Xin Wang HK Cafe! It just taste so nice! The pepper smell is so great and strong to the taste bud, just like how I love it! The spaghetti wasn't that bad, just that it might taste weird to others.

Like Berlin said, it actually tasted like some Chinese medicine herbs HAHA.

After dinner, we moved on to our next activity which we planned for quite some time! We went to play pool! HAHA, I don't really play pool a lot. Really. So we all are like playing around HAHA, damn funny yet fun :D

Few weeks back (not very long ago), we went to Kryst's house for a steamboat gathering! Yes, so morning around 11 I woke up, met up with Lervon and Jody and we we took train to Dover then took bus to a bus stop near Kryst's house!

After that, we went off to grocery shopping to shop for food and ingredients for our steamboat! Grocery shopping is always very fun! And with all three of them, we really had tons of fun. We just take and take the food, and before we know it, the whole trolley was full of food! HAHA. And I'm like the daddy of the whole bynch, bringing kids out. OMG, feel so old!

Went back to Kryst's house, slacked a while, while waiting for Gim and Yang Hyun! And around 6, we started preparing food! Hmmm...should I say we? HAHA!

These are like just some of the ingredients we bought! SOME, take note. HAHA. Cheese tofu (as shown above)! LOVE IT TO THE MAX, bought 3 packets and finished ALL! Hee hee.

We definitely bought some food to fry too! Hee hee. If not all boil one also not appetizing mah. Haha!

How can we miss out vege?! Need balance meal! HAHA!

[MAD OVERDUE]: Mother's Day Gift!

This post is like mad overdue but I seriously think that it deserves to be blogged out as I've really put in effort in the process of doing so! Anyway this post is actually about the process of me making something for my mum for Mother's Day 2011. Yes, that's how overdue this post is!

So basically my mum loves bags etc but I thought that instead of getting something that is already available in the mall, why don't I just make something for her with my own hands with some materials? I mean I myself will totally be touched and feel loved should anyone make something for me, right?

I've decided back then to make a personalised iPhone cover for her. My mum LOVES seashells a lot, so I try to make a blingbling iPhone case for her, with some seashells which I bought along Chinatown :D

I bought all these bling blings from a shop in a mall along Chinatown. That shop sells tons of these kinda DIY materials! And I totally had a hard time choosing, ended up I spent quite a sum of money, yet I feel very excited to kick start the whole process of making the iPhone cover!

I bought a blue colored iPhone cover from FourSkin as the theme was Sea, so blue is definitely a good choice!

Not forgetting the tweezers to hold the crystals!

And of course some crystals! These are real SWAROVSKI crystals leh!

Obviously, I wasn't the one who bought the SWAROVSKI crystals! And I went out that day to the STARBUCKS in Suntec City to sit down and do the cover. I'm not gonna sit alone, like duh! One guy sit down and do this kinda things in public very weird leh! LOL!

So I got my bestie, Angie, to accompany me! PLUS, she is like a pro at blinging items!

Ok, so here we start placing the crystals as an outline!

I was damn serious throughout the whole thing and it certainly seems much more difficult that it looks! Just the outline (shown below) took me like 20 mins or so!!! Because we have to ensure that the crystals are in line and in place, and also not forgetting that the epoxy glue will actually dry up very fast. So it's also a battle against time!

Bestie just taught me the basics and the rest is up to me to do. I mean afterall I am doing something for my mum, cannot be I get my bestie to help me do and I sit back right? Lol, defeat the purpose only. HAHA.
So she kinda got bored and started going cranky and played with my camera and her Hello Kitty LOL!

AFTER LIKE A TOTAL OF 5+ HOURS!

THE iPHONE COVER IS FINALLY DONE!!!!!

As you can see that there are still gaps in between the big pieces of ornaments, but come on! I am a guy! An d being able to come up with such an iPhone cover is already quite a big achievement for me. Now I understand people like XiaXue and other girls who are willing to spend so much time to bling their items!

The satisfaction is simply amazing! Seeing the final product is just so marvelous! However, after the whole 5 hours, it certainly lead me to suffering from a bad backache! But when I show the gift to my mum, she was damn surprised and she thought I bought it from a shop! OMG I was damn happy!

To be honest, I even twitpic and @ mentioned XiaXue to ask for her opinion and she told me it looks great and my mum will certainly love it! Thanks for the encouragement!

But I think I won't be doing such things anytime soon again... HAHA. Well, if you haven't try doing so, be it you're a boy or girl, you all should do it at least once! Find the suitable person which makes you feel that it's worth doing such things for and try it! The happiness you deprived from it will be great!!

New Vintage Brown Blazer!

Personally I love vintage a lot. That's why whenever I buy bags or shoes, I will be looking out for vintage inspired stuffs. Like khaki pants or light brown colored shoes or bags. As I am kinda short of blazers to wear for casual outings or official events, I bought a Blazer from GMarket!

It costs me only like $30, including postage leh! Damn cheap! So here are just some simple photos of the blazers :D

I just love those big and round buttons sewed onto it! It definitely brought out the vintage feel and the contrast between both! Love it!

Coupled together with just a simple black tee within and a necklace, I am all ready to head out! SIMPLE!

Er no! I am not showing you my crotch -.- I just wanna show how easy it is to match with just a dark colored pants as well! And the length of the sleeves are just nice as well! TOTALLY LOVING IT!

Anyway, I've decided to join the JYP Audition together with some of my friends. I've been practicing for the pass few days and I really hope that I can get some results out of it. Erm...too many things happened and didn't really started 2012 very well due to some issues.

The Amazing People Who Entered My Life

Er everyone is like blogging or has already blogged about how their 2011 has went. And I obviously don't want to be the only one left out so here I am blogging EARLY in the morning like 6am about my year. No worries, I am NOT gonna go through my one whole year but only like the last quarter or my year, where I am like very vulnerable.

But at this point of time, not only do I have the support of my friends in blogging that I've known for like 1 year plus or so, I have also made some new friends! And I do appreciate them! I am NOT gonna mention all of them, not because some of them are like insignificant (maybe I've forgotten, oops) but some are just not so convenient for me to blog about. So ya.

Here we go.

The dude above is no longer a stranger (actually most of them here are not), on my blog. He is non other than LERVONN! It's kinda funny how he actually started to be like my follower on Twitter, and then poof! Now he is like a brother to me, we talked practically about EVERYTHING under the sun! And I can really teased him anything, anywhere and he won't get mad!

That's real true friend. And I think the both of us went through a lot together as buddies. Obviously, we both are very close. And although he's younger than me, I actually think that sometimes his thoughts are MUCH MORE profound and mature than mine... Think sometimes, wisdom does not come with age...

Anyway bro, thanks for being part of my childish and rather messed up life! BROS FOREVER!

Next is JODY! And she is Lervonn's girlfriend! I only got to know her around November during my A Levels period. Yes, we might not know each other very long. We might not understand each other a lot yet. BUT, what we have is the friendship which was formed through time. Now we talked to each other as though we known each other for a long time. We joked with each other about everything, yet we feel very comfortable with it.

I totally love it whenever the both of us come up with some cranky ideas or when we joke about Lervon's Wo Mei and Nana! LOL XD Damn funny. Thanks Jody for coming into my year and being a close friend now! Thanks a lot!

Aiyoyo, I bet more than half of you here knows who she is. She is the beautiful and friendly, Rachell aka Pxdkitty! Erm...I am the follower of hers this time round, HAHA! And I must say that I do support her some time way back then and only during last year around October or so, I get to know her better personally and became somewhat closer.

I must say that despite her fame and everything, she does not show any air at all! Instead, she kept her humble self whenever she treat others, especially xiao didis like Lervonn and I! The both of us appreciated it a lot! Also, whenever I start to emo on Twitter and stuff, she will actually like immediately or so, whatsapp me and try to find out what's happening. Then, she will give me advises etc.

I think she is like an elder sister to me! So, thanks Rachell for guiding me along my way! Let's meet up soon ok? Hee hee!

This is the very humorous, Cynthia! I know her when both Lervonn and I went to visit her flea at her house back then! Erm....to be honest, I was quite afraid of her initially. HAHA, but after getting to know her after numerous outings, she is VERY funny!

You CI le ma? Wanna CUA or not? HAHA! These are the kind of jokes that we keep making up till today, and we are NOT bored of it. Hee hee! Thanks Cynthia! The both of us have not meet up very often! Hope to see you soon ok? HAHA!

Aiyo! Another chio one here, non other than Kiyomi! I was like a hardcore supporter of hers. And how do I know her? It is actually through an incident, when a humji dare to insult her through YouTube, and my bestie Angie, told me about it. Being unable to tolerate that humji's actions, I retaliate.

And that's how she got to know of my existence too. Hee hee. We are like a crazy bunch when all of us gather together! She brought lots of laughter into our group of friends and I must say, I do miss her a lot.... To me, she is like a sister whom I can talk to at ease as well. She's rather straightforward, so although at times her words might seem blunt, but it is actually for the good of us.

I really miss her a lot...Been long since I last saw her. And I do not know when I can see her again....

PEISHI! The girl with such gorgeous looks, yet she is not happy with it :'( Peishi! Have more confidence in your own looks ok?!

I always tell her "Your makeup tutorial hor, before and after like no difference lo...only the eyebrows become darker -.-" LOL! And I enjoy tinychatting with her a lot! Because with her, the atmosphere is TOTALLY DIFFERENT! And till today, I still remember the characters that got ALL of us into laughter that brought us stomachaches! LOL. Nanikan, Kannina and Ninakan XD Totally enjoy those moments!

Come to think of it, all of us are like busy with our own stuffs that we hardly have time for each other. Miss you lots...because we both really talked a lot of nonsense together and it seems like topic never seems to run out. Get to meet up soon!!!!! Hee hee :p

This Korean look alike, okay he's actually Korean, is Yang Hyun! We met like 3 times and he's very sociable and we clicked very fast too! Erm...sometimes I think he thinks too highly of me. LOL! I don't know why, but it seems like these whole bunch of people are very sociable and it appears that, the people within the circle of the blogsphere seems to be able to click very well!

This beautiful lady with nice features is, Krystle! Hee hee! I think she is also like an elder sister to me! She is very nice and she actually invited us to her house for a steamboat gathering not long ago! We had so much fun from shopping for the groceries, to preparing it and eating it together as though we are a big family!

I am VERY VERY sorry to those whom I've let down or hurt....I seriously needa stop being so childish and know how to manage my time and relation better.. Soon, I will be entering army and I want to come out from army as a new person. But before that, I know that what I can do is to start caring for those who have always shown me love and care.

So my parents and I, yes you didn't see it wrongly, it is my PARENTS AND I went to countdown together! My parents actually love all these like fun stuffs that youngsters do, and they do celebrate countdown! I actually celebrated countdown with my family ever since I remembered!

We are actually so crazy over countdown that last year we even went to Japan with my cousin just to countdown and to spend our new year there! HAHA! So much fun!

Anyway we went to Marina to celebrate and coincidentally, Jody and Lervonn was there as well, so my parents and I went to meet them! HAHA! It was so much fun and too bad, as both Lervonn and Jody was inside on the Helix Bridge, my parents and I are actually on the roadside instead. But we were rather near so it didn't really matter, since all we wanted was to bask in the atmosphere and enjoy the fireworks!

I passed my camera to Jody and the following firework photos are taken by her and unedited. HAHA. I just filter some out to blog, because fireworks look practically kinda same. LOL. Enjoy!

Well, 2011 is over now. And it's like a hard year for me as it was my A Levels year. But now it's all history. As I've tweeted, what's unhappy should be left behind and only happy memories should be brought forward. Erm...it is all about how we want things to be. Everyone has wrongdoings, why should we all ALWAYS focus only at the bad points and enlarge it, when each and every person has more to than that?

Cherish whoever we have and spend time with them. That is something I really need to learn. Like really.

I hope that 2012 will be a relatively smoother journey for me compared to 2011. Army life is approaching and I hope I can get the best out of it! Till then I think my blogging activities will be minimized to the max... But we shall see how. But for now, stay happy and be healthy ok?

Lovely Christmas Meals

Hohoho! Christmas is over and I must say this year I really enjoyed myself, although I didn't really receive lots of presents. Only 2 hor. Don't laugh at me. HAHA!

So, my family doesn't really celebrate Christmas so on the day itself, I woke up freaking early like 9am to head down to ION Orchard to have a scrumptious breakfast to kick start our day out together! Forever Alone. LOL!

We head down to one of the restaurant in ION to have breakfast! It is The Marmalade Pantry! And they really do serve very nice food! Yums ~

The mushroom and bacon was very very nice! Especially he bacon, it is REALLY baked man!

If I'm not wrong, this is the Egg Benedict!

Like I always mentioned on my blog, what is a meal without a dessert to end it off right?

This is like brownie, I do not know the exact name though!

The brownie above is very yummy! We asked them to heat it up before serving! When I first ate it, it's slightly warm and the brownie actually crumbles and melts in the mouth! Non-exaggerated at all! It just tasted different from those that I ate before!

Also, the serving is very very big! WORTH IT! Even two of us cannot finish it!

Hee hee! We got free popcorns that was given out in Orchard Central!

That was really about it for my Christmas. Very simple one yet I feel satisfied max! And if you realised, I didn't take any photos of myself during the whole celebration! So, here are some photos of me :p

The next day, my cousin, one of our ex-colleague (Kym) and I went out to celebrate Christmas as well as Kym's birthday, which falls on yesterday!

So we headed off to NYDC at Tampines One to have our meal! And we really really had lots of food! Totally feel bloated after finishing everything! Just see and you'll know why! Some more is shared among two girls and only one guy eh! HAHA!

And alas, out of all things, we went to play those doll catching machine! And we took out like $12 initially, and with only $8 spent, we managed to catch the below Minnie Mouse for Kym's birthday!

After that, I eyed on this Stitch plushie, that is clothed with Alien outfit, from the Toy Story! MAD LOVE WITH IT! I love Alien man! And so, that's when we all keep fishing out money trying to catch it. We spent arounf $50+ dollars on it but didn't catch it. So devastated we were, we decided to head to the open area to have the cake!

Yesterday was the GaGaFlea through the collaboration of both Fashionhooks as well as The Black Secret! It was quite a success I must say! And I would like to thanks, on their behalf, for those who made an effort to visit the flea! Not to forget those who went to Bali Lane today as well ^^

So I am just gonna blog about yesterday, nothing much in particular, just photos. HAHA.

Lervonn and Jody met up with me, and I took like 1 hour to prepare (not very long la hor?) and we bus-ed down to Cynthia's house!

Actually the trip wasn't very long la, but Lervonn and I fell asleep like two pigs haha! And soon enough we reached Cynthia's house!

Simple Things Of My Life Now

My day started off with going back down to Temasek Sec to help out with my CCA, SJAB. Competition is nearing for them so I just wanna head down to help them,help the corp and help to maintain our glory that have been fought so hard for, for years!

So currently every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I am down for training with the cadets! Today I left slightly earlier to have lunch with mummy before going for my work ^^ Went to town to pass the giveaway to one reader, and lunch automatically will be CoCoIchibanya because I have vouchers :p

Mummy has been rather stress with her work because it's year end, so she has to like close all the orders for her company and stuff. So it's kinda good for her to come out and relax, so I decided to accompany her!

I just love their curry rice with the omelet! Tasted milky and thick in texture! YUMS!

By the time we finished lunch it was already like 4+ (I seriously wonder why it took so long -.-) but I realised the service was very slow today. Exceptionally slow.

Cabbed to work after that after walking around with mummy! It's really miserable to be broke. Everything I love or like, I just cannot buy. I actually keep persuading myself to abstain from them, haha! I thought I lost my EZ-Link card when we reached the MRT Station but I cannot find it!

Went back to OG and luckily it was found and passed to the customer service! Bless the person who found and return it! Cos I just top up $10 yesterday!

So I actually used the treats to make them do faster! HAHA! If not they always will talk one, so as to catch my attention! HEE HEE! Seriously, I never remember me wanting to catch teacher's attention so much when I was their age lo. LOL. Now more AA!

New Hair Color!

FINALLY back with an update on this blog! Many of you have been asking me to update my blog whenever I TinyChat with you guys! Very glad that there are actually people who check my blog like every single day and remind me to blog!

Very sorry that you all have to wait for so long! So here I am gonna update on you guys on the things that I've been doing! I've recently dyed my hair, which I assumed that you guys should know, since most of you follow me on Twitter ^^

So I went with my aunt for my second visit to the salon since the first bleach wasn't that ideal.

I actually chose light blonde! This is my FIRST time dying so I was quite excited about it! The first dye turned out a bit orange despite dyeing it for like 2 times. So the second trip I actually hoped that the color will turn out to be lighter.

So after washing off the dye after half an hour, this is the result....

To be honest, I was damn shock cos it was orange when I entered the salon, and after washing, it is still orang -__- Seriously I was damn gan jiong (anxious) by then! I didn't go for the second trip to get back the same color!

But luckily after drying my wet hair it turned out to be so!

I am seriously mad happy! And my hair wasn't very dry at all despite the fact that it was bleached and underwent so much of chemical contact! Do you all love my new hair color? And too bad I couldn't bleach my eyebrows because my mum don't allow and some think that it's unlucky, so it's still black. HAHA.

After our hair salon visit, we went off to have some dessert before going back home at Bedok Point!

What I've Been Up To~

Okok, I know that I have not been updating my blog recently. And some of you readers are so cute when I meet up with you all to pass you all the giveaway prizes! You all were like telling me "Update your blog more leh! If not I nothing to read very bored!" and this girl called @CheriesBoomz even told me "I love reading your blog."

I swear I was damn shy and blushing away. HAHA!

So this post is just random post to make my blog more lively! If you've been following me on Twitter, you would've known that I've been atending a camp by my secondary school CCA and helping out as a facilitator. That took up like 5 days last week and this week from Monday to Thursday, I've been working and running errands and going prom etc.

Aiya, in simpler term I've been FREAKING BUSY! I will DEFINITELY try to find time to blog more ok? PROMISE. Also, I am currently working out on the new design for my blog! SO, I guess that is something for you all to look forward to right? Hee hee.

So here is what I've ate like some time back before I go to my camp ^^

I went out with my friends back then and we ate Ajisen!!! Yums yums! Been so long since I've last eaten Ajisen! Hee hee :p Er....I don't know the name of the food okay? So just wanna make you all hungry or fungry only (as usual though...hee hee)!

Also, slightly before I went to attend the camp, I went to eat with a friend after watching "Already Famous"! That is a very nice show, and hilarious too! Everyone should go watch it okay?! Pure Beauty~ HAHA!

After the movie, we went to Hong Kong Cafe for supper. Yummy!! I LOVE Hong Kong Cafes!!! All the nice food, and also the Iced Yuan Yang! Who wanna treat me to HK Cafe for some afternoon chilling? I'm shameless for the food okie? LOL.

Surprisingly the fish & chips are good for a non-western based restaurant!

And this is mine! Ya I know although its like only maggie mee, it tasted freakinglicious with the meat cubes!

I guess I have nothing much to blog about already. Because I've not been going to events etc. HAHA. Also, my prom just ended and sadly, right BEFORE I walked into ballroom, my camera dropped and it's spoilt now. Like seriously?! How unlucky can I get....So I don't really have any photos to blog about proms :(

Well well, guess it's the atmosphere and the whole experience that matters and I enjoyed much!

Wine & Restaurants Experience

I was asked by Calvin to go to this food tasting session with him at Sentosa few weeks back! And yesterday I went to the event! At first I thought it was a food tasting session in one restaurant as per normal, but I was proven wrong to the max when I was at the location!

There were like 30 over tables being set up, with 20 over top rated restaurants, preparing different delicacies for us! The food actually ranges from Swedish food, to Indian food and to Chinese food as well! That's how major the event was!

So the event was called Wine & Restaurants Experience!

The food are really fantastic, and I don't really remember the names of each dish so I only post up the pictures, so hope you all don't mind! HAHA!

ALL THE DEDICATED CHEDS PREPARING THE DELICACIES FOR US!

Cute presentation of the food! And inside actually contains like truffles? But I think it's a bit strong the truffles. LOL.

This is actually like a snack that goes along with beer! It's a bit salty, so its quite addictive ^^

Although I don't eat abalone, but this dish of a mix of abalone with chicken tasted great to the taste bud!

Crab meat (as in real crabs not the strips of crab meat) stuffings in crab's shell! Yums!

HAHA! My favorite poached eggs!!!!!!! This is simple and nice! Yums yums!!! Though it looked like half boiled eggs, haha!

Remember this egg near the start of the post? This is how it is being served to us! Cute eh?! HAHA!

This is actually the Vietnamese Beed Kuay Teow! Nice soup base I must say! And not forgetting the tender beef!

And of course! What's a meal without desserts to complete it?! So I was enjoying myself like a boss and ordered a cup of hot latte! So nice lorh the heart shape! I know I also can do it one ^^ (Buay Hiao Bai max!) HAHA!

I seriously got to thanks Calvin for bringing me along because it's seriously amajor exposure for me. I mean I've went to many food tastings before, but this is definitely the MOST MAJOR one that I've attended. And what's more? Not only bloggers like us are present, major businessmen and businesswomen are there too!

From banks, to hotel management profiled people! And we were like sitting on the same table with them, chatting away and having food! That's how major the event was. And I was glad that I was able to have a conversation with this friendly caucasian lady sitting beside me! And she was so friendly that she told us she will visit our blogs as we exchanged out namecards! HAHA!

I'm definitely loving the whole session. And I hope that you guys will droool over the yummylicious photos HAHA! I very mean right? ALWAYS make you all drool at this timing! Hee hee!

After As Destress!

Oh yes! Yesterday was like the last paper of my A Levels! Although one more MCQ for Chemistry next Tuesday, but I mean at least no need to study like mad as compared to those essays etc, right? HAHA!

So obviously, after the paper of course needa celebrate right?! HAHA! So I went out to relax myself! Damn stress lo the pass few weeks! Everyday sleep like less than 2 hours! MADNESS. And I seriously think that A Levels results will NOT be desirable AT ALL. Seriously. Bad feeling about it! But at least I tried my best, so I guessed, no regrets bah!

Below are some pictures of the yummy food I treat my stomach with and 2 pieces of my nice nice clothes! Hee hee!

Calvin brought me to this nice place call, V8 Cafe in Bugis Junction to have our dinner! WOW! The place was mad crowded man! HAHA. And the food was really nice, what's more?! People are actually willing to queue like mad outside the cafe to wait for seats! That's how nice it is! So, you guys definitely have to go and try it!

This is the soup we had for ordering our food. We didn't know what soup is it but I guess it is chicken bah. LOL!

HAHA! My all time favorite IBC Rootbeer!!! Second appearance on my Blog! Hee hee.

I ordered the Aglio Olio! AND YUMS YUMS!!! It's really really VERY VERY TASTY! You all should know that Aglio Olio is prepared by mixing the pasta with garlic right? So basically it's very much of a simple dish, yet is tasted so nice!
This one which I ate yesterday was very nice as the fragrant of the garlic was lingering at my nose and when I eat it, WAHHHHH~ Kinda heaven siol. HAHA! Die die must try, not advertising for them but I really love it!

Before that, Calvin and I was at town. So, we brought our H&M Gift Card and went shopping! Hee hee! And I finally bought the leather jacket that I've always been eyeing! HIAK HIAK!

The material is very nice and I think that it's really suitable to wear in this Humid weather of Singapore's!

Then I also bought the very first piece of my PRAISES tee at Cineleisure! You know what?! Because it's on 50% off haha! You all should really go get them! The material is very good and the design is very nice too, simple and nice!

So, this is the piece which I've bought! Me love polka dots and blue! HAHA!

I am back here to make you all drool!!!! HAHA! So few weeks back, or maybe a month ago, thanks to ClicknetworkTV, Kaykay and Paul, I managed to win myself a $100 Red House Seafood Voucher! So I brought my parents a long with me to go try out the yummy seadfood there!

I heard that the black pepper crab there is like the best man! So was rather excited to try out! AND this is NOT a sponsored review ok? I just wanna make you all drool. That's all! HAHA!

I kinda like the environment. Kinda relaxing and we get to taste yummy food!

So we ordered quite a number of dishes, like I said the black pepper crab is like a MUST. So, that definitely was one of our orders. And I always like to have some vegetables in my meal so I ordered my all time favorite, broccoli with garlic! Simple dish yet it smells heavenly and tastes like heaven too!

And my dad asked me to order some prawns too ^^ So again, we ordered steam prawns with garlic! Hee hee! You can actually say that I am a lover of garlic, especially when it is used to prepare steamed food!

Looks yummy and green right the broccoli! I swear I can drool like mad now as I blog this!

The main star of the night: BLACK PEPPER CRAB!!!

You know like normally right, black pepper crabs tend to be very dry? But I find this dish not dry, yet the spicyness and shiokness of the black pepper is there! And no wonder it is being known for it's black pepper crabs! You guys should really try it out man!

I actually find these prawns to be cute as they stare at my camera! HAHA!

And of course what's a meal without desserts to finish it off?! And here are three different desserts I tried!

This is the refreshing mango sago with pomelo! Sour and sweet at the same time! Yummy!

This dessert is rather interesting! Its pulau hitam, with coconut ice cream! Yummy! Interesting way of presenting the dish!

And this is the last one which is Yam Paste! It's a hot dessert and I dont actually find it to be very sweet!
So I highly recommend this too!

So that kinda sums up my visit to Red House Seafood Restaurant! And the totaly bill for all the above dishes sums up to only $149 without using the voucher! So, it's actually quite worth it lorh! Like $149 for all the above, with crab, prawns and all!

Some of you might say normal Tsi Char also can eat the same things but much cheaper. Yes, but the quality is REALLY different especially the black pepper crab! Do head down with you love ones there now!

Dinner With KPKB!!!!

Right after school, Leronn, the Tiny Little Star called me and aske dme to go to Bugis to find him, Rachell and Kiyomi (the KPKB members)! So.....I did went there. HAHA. So happening, right after school, reach home, and chiong out. HAHA!

We shopped around Bugis Street, joked and fooled around! And I am the little boy in a tall body and Lervonn is the act cool guy in a small body! LOL! Then we went to Billy Bombers after buying the fried mushrooms which Lervonn wanted to eat all the while! HAHA!

Aiya, just slot in a photo of myself in Billy Bombers, because Kiyomi and Rachell also camwhoring mah, then why not? HAHA! Go out with others who dare to camwhore is cool! No need be shy :p

Because Rachell and Kiyomi wants to find a location to film their second episode of #YUDK (Why You Don't Know?!) and then coincidentally, Billy Bombers has nice environment and it's not crowded! WUAHAHAHA!

And we brought in our I Love Taimei food inside :p And we damn cheapo! We initially planned to just order ONE item for us 5 person and just sit down and film and camp there! HAHA. But of course NEVER do so la! Damn pai seh one leh, LOL!

Buffalo wings are supposed to be like spicy right? And we chose the suicidal level leh! At first when it was served, we smell only, we all go like "SIAO LIAO! SURE DIE ONE!" But then hor, when we eat, we all go: -________-"

NOT SPICY AT ALL LORH! Instead, it's sour la! And we named it sourcidal! LOL!

I look damn freaking fat in this photo, so just changed it to greyscale. LOL, black makes you look slimmer right? HAHA!

Fake spicyness. LOL! I think those are tomatos or lemon flakes instead! SO SOUR and NOT spicy!

After eating, the two hardcore hardworking blggers, Rachell and Kiyomi, start to prepare to shot for their #YUDK video! And here.....we see the violent ciao zha bor (fierce girl) side of Kiyomi O.O

And because Kiyomi and Rachell feels that their fringe looks weird and because of the low angle of the camera, they look kinda fat. Got meh? But anyway, so Kiyomi used her laptop to film instead towards the back! HAHA!

It was damn funny! Because when she took out the laptop to film, it was already 10pm and Billy Bombers was already closing! So the whole shooting process become very nerve-wrecking because we all trying to film finish the whole thing as fast as possible.

Know why? The staffs are standing like behind us and STARING at us because we were the only table left behind! HAHA! But the video turned out to be much better because we were rushing and everything seems so funny! So do keep a lookout for the second episode of Why You Don't Know?!

So anyway, two days back I went to this Sales Event by Fashionhooks and I-Babydoll introduced by Rachell aka pxdkitty! Go read her blog HERE! I went along to this event with Lervon! We both were discussing how awkward it will be for the both of us to be present at a girls'sales! HAHA, but we very thick skin so we just go :p

So we arrived at the far away land of Chu Chu Kang, which seems so far away from the both of us HAHA. And WOW! There was tons of stuffs on sales! Here are some of the stuffs:

So, basically like I said, awkward to be in the house initially. Cos all GIRLS leh! Then suddenly 2 guys popped up! And guess what? I was shopping for GIRLS' APPARELS lorh! Why I do so?! For giveaway la! HAHA!

♥ Family Bonding Shoot ♥

This space actually seems a little bit dead by now...haha. Not that I have nothing to blog about, in fact, I have lots of things that I want to share with you guys! Just really hope that A Levels quickly pass!

Blah blah blah, so I got a ringlight (okay, this is like so old news liao) so when my cousin came over to my house 2 weeks back, we had an impromtu shoot with the new toy. And amazingly, our family took part being part of it also. HAHA. So basically, this post is just about some shameless camwhore pictures of ourselves, but CHIO ones ^^

Don't worry guys, my friends and I have already organised an outdoor shooting session, so you won't be seeing pictures of just boring white or grey backgrounds for much longer. Haha, endure a bit bah! And there's also the giveaway and the comeback stage for Mr. Pomelo and MANY MORE! So, do stay tune!

These photos are taken in my room, and on mybed, with my wonderful plushies who accompany me throughout the nighton my bed, only to be at risk of getting kicked off the bed in themiddle of the night. HAHA!

So we had enough of *ahem* bed shots (LOL!)so, we went around my house to look for props to continue with ourshoot..and here is a weird scenario.....We actually pretended that wegot engaged! But turned out the photo not bad worh~

Ifyou own a DSLR, good for you because you all get to experiment far muchmore than me. But, that is IF you really do know how to use it andstuff. Getting a DSLR just to camowhore.....er....kinda defeats thepurpose, ya? Ok, I starting to sound bitchy, Oops.

S.T.R.E.S.S OVERLOAD

Hi everyone! I've been kinda slacking away from Blogging, not that I chose to do so but it's just circumstances that don't allow me to do so. If you are following me on Twitter you will actually see me keep complaining about A Levels and how stress I am etc.

Just look at the amount of lecture notes that I've to go through and study for my A Levels! Seriously don't get it how those people actually manage to score all As...It's just so impossible when it happens to me! But I've already walked to this stage what else can I do but to try my best am I right?

Next Tuesday will be the start of my battle against A Level and I can seriously tell you all with an honest heart that I don't think that I will be able to make it...I will be sure to flunk it badly. Like real badly. Trust me on that... Not that I want to...I really hope that I am able to get into SMU...Just that will do.

Seriously, need some faith and hope. And it will start from me!

So that day I went out with Calvin to catch a movie at Plaza Sing, and we watched Real Steel. It kinda made me relaxed for that night, while I was away from my books and all. After movie, we went to dine at ASTONS. This ASTONS is different from the other outlets because this outlet specialised in steaks and it's menu is kinda limited to some extent. But I love the taste of the food!!! Yummy!!!

So glad that they actually served the IBC Rootbeer there! The first time I tasted it was in Marche, haha! (Oh ya! I am not advertising for ASTONS arh!)

I ordered this beer battered fish!!! And surprisingly, it was a very big portion!!! And it costs only like $14.90 for the dish above!!! Worth it max! AND it taste yummy ^^And the fish is very thick slice too!! TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE!

And this is Calvin's spaghetti and it's also another worth it dish!!! Inside in there are scallops and prawns. Trust me, the scallops are yummy and chewy!! HAHA! And the spaghetti tasted nice as well!

So, I felt kinda relaxed for being out of my house for a short movie and a meal. But now I'm back to reality. A lot of dramas have been going on in my life and I think it's due to my very own actions. There is a need and demand for me to start growing up and all... No more time to waste on other things.

There are far too many much more important things in my life. This last lap, be it I make it or break it, my life still goes on. Gonna hold with no regrets even if I flunk. Sorry for such emotional post after so long of my blogging...but this is what a blog should be right? Writing our true feelings out...

Favorite October Buys!

Hi there my beloved readers!!! What have you all been doing this October?! HAHA. For me, I am currently busy preparing for my upcoming A Levels in just like 20 days? Gosh, that's damn scary. I swear that it is NOTHING like O Levels at all.

Still remembered that O Levels period, I wake up every morning and had a plate of oreo cheesecake in front of my comp while watching Boys Over Flowers and with a pot of my favorite milk tea. I know damn relax right?! Now cannot eh! If I were to do that, I can kiss goodbye to my SMU dream! Tsktsk. Fate of Singaporean Kids....

Well, but of course being busy with studies is one thing and I should NEVER forgo my relaxing time as well! What's more satisfying than retail therapy, buying items which you love and be owners of them?! HAHA, works perfectly for me! So I am gonna show you some of the good buys I had and share with you guys on where you can get them!

So first up is this black Superman Tee that I am wearing!!!! Erm...I am actually not a very big fan of Superman, but I just love Superman tees.. What irony, I know right? Hee hee. I simply cannot resist them man! They just look simple, yet smart at the same time!

What's more?! Black and Gold has always been my favorite combination of colors of ALL TIME! They just go so well with one another and they actually give off the "I am super classy" vibes to others! On top of that, black and gold are such classic combination that you will look good wearing them!

See! Just simple tees like this can actually make one person look relatively good already! Just be comfortable in what you wear, like I said, who state that you have to wear very fashionable and extravagant pieces of clothings to tell others who you are? Nope, you don't!

And this piece of tee is only for $29! It is considered cheap, compared to its previous retail price of $100+ LIKE WOW! You can get it at the DC COMICS ORIGINAL shop at Bugis, along the stretch same as MacDonald's ! All tees are selling at $15-$39, around the price! Worth the buy!

Next two items will be on Fred Perry! Sure, hear of this name and you will think "WHAT?! SURE DAMN EX!" Well, I don't deny that it is relatively more pricey compared to other bags, but come to think of the long term usage, it's kinda worth it.

For me, I've always loved Fred Perry's bags due to their unique design, at least in my opinion. Some may say that it is now an ah beng brand, but come on, it's who that carries it that matters, Not the item. Remember, we are the one wearing the item, not the other way round. So personal character and style is more important.

I happily got this Navy Holdall sling/shoulder bag! I got this at a very cheap price compared to buying it from the shop itself. Yes, I didn't get it from the stall itself because my friend told me that there was a sales going on at iluma! And it is up to 50% OFF! GOOD BUY EH!!!!

So I went there with my family and cousin, and tees are at 70% off and all other items which include shoes, bags, hats etc are all at 50% off! This bag costs originally at $149, madness! I will not buy it if its at it's original price (cheapo max!). But it was like 50% off so it's around $74.50, so I thought it was a good deal and it looks like it will last long, so why not?

And I was very lucky because that was the only bag that looks decent right there. I walked around the shop for quite a while with the bag in my hand, wondering if I should get it and a lot of others are aiming for me to release it back onto the shelves. Glad I didn't, if not sure regret!

When I got to the counter, the cashier told me if I use POSB card got further discount! So I quickly took it out and paid using it! Guess what?! The bag suddenly become only $60, cheaper than it's discounted price!!! GOSH! DAMN HAPPY!!! Bringing it around everyday!!! Good for casual, school or formal events eh!

I am not sure if it will still be there though but you might wanna ask around or check it out during the weekends? Yups ^^

The last item is actually this Fred Perry A4 sized folder! Conan, Calvin and I all got this! Hee hee. You must be thinking that we are crazy to go buy a Fred Perry folder! But if I were to tell you the price, you sure go grab it one!

But before that, just look at how colorful the interior is!!! It's divided into many compartments as well!!! Practical for usage and especially for students like us, who has many notes etc. Sometimes we wanna go easy with our stuffs when heading out, this folder can hold your stuffs for sure!

It looks fashionable yet practical at the same time!!!!

And time to reveal the price! IT IS ONLY $19.90!!!!! And yups, we didn't get this from the Fred Perry shop itself too! If you are a constant consumer of Kinokuniya or loves Japanese magazines, you will actually realise that they have lots of Japanese magazines, which comes with complement items!!!

And coincidentally, this magazine which we chanced upon, is only $19.90 and it comes with this Fred Perry folder!!! It looks very good and the material is not that bad too! If you wanna get it, just take a look at the picture above, that's how the magazine looks like! Go get it at any Kinokuniya outlets now!!!

So this are actually just some simple and good buys which I've got recently! Bet that's gonna be my last retail therapy as most of my upcoming days and weeks will be committed to A Levels!!! Just gotta hang in there for one last month and I'll be a free bird!! Hope to update here soon too!!!

Compilation Of My Hard Efforts!

Hi everyone! Blogging for me has come a long way....I've been blogging for almost 5 years and all along I've been only blogging and of course, trying to improve on my contents etc.

But I've also come to realise that, the blogsphere is no longer just about blogging. In order to really shine (for good reasons), we have to keep experimenting and be daring to try out new things. So, I no longer restrict myself to only Blogging in texts but also turn to making videos!

Well, I must say that it is relatively difficult for me to start doing videos because I seriously feel very weird talking to a camera myself. It's just weird....trust me. But of course, why would I let this bring me down and stop me from trying?! Since then, I've been trying my best to improve on my speech and actions too.

And I am glad that I've seen some results! Because people actually recognises the characters which I've "created" in my videos, such as the most popular one which will be Mr. Pomelo! I really appreciate it! And so, this blog is actually just to show you guys all the videos I've done up to date and of course.....still continuing to do so!

No Longer Just A Watch

Everyone is talking about being fashionable, by wearing some fashionable pieces of clothes or even using the latest technology. It actually varies from person to person. From top to toe, anything can actually be a part of fashion. Clothings, to shoes and even accessories.

That is a reason why I like to dress up too! It actually helps one person to carry different types of style for different occasions, and trust me, it does change a person's appearance a lot!

There is never enough pair of shoes that we can actually own in our very own cabinet. We all have different pair of shoes to go along with the different outfits that we carry for each different days or occasions! Footwear does change the overall appearance of a person, as such, it is advisable for us to own a least a certain variety of shoes within our cabinet.

You will not want to look out of place just because of a pair of shoes am I right? HAHA.

Clothings does play a big part too! In today's society, what you wear is what people see you as. That's what we all call first impression. Just imagine you wear flip flops, with singlet and shorts and stride right into a restaurant.... Everyone will give you the stare and mumble among themselves...

Being out of place is gonna be very weird for us. As such, clothings play a relatively important aspect of creating a person's image. That's what people think of you and that's what they remember you for. It's like creating a branding for yourself.

Simply put "You are what you wear".

But, have you ever stop by and wonder that there are actually much more meticulous details to be taken into consideration if we are to talk about fashion or being fashionable. Indeed a piece of nice apparel will make you look good, bu what about small details such as accessories?

They could be small in terms of size, yet they can make drastic changes to a person's overall appearance as well. They act like garnishes to dishes of food, thus adding colors and excitement to the person's outlook.

When we all talk about accessories, we will think of necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and many more to be mentioned. But, I personally feel that watches do act as a form of accessory too! They help to create a certain image for us, for different events. And each watch is different from the others, and they are unique as individuals.

As such, it is also an interesting experiment to see which type of watch is suitable to go along with the different styles that we are carrying for the day!

The above are the 4 types of watches which I usually wear and I am going to show you the different types of style that they actually go along with!

The first watch which I am gonna start off with will be the basics. Most of us do own a watch that looks just that simple yet classic at the same time. For those who like to dress with just a simple top with jeans or Bermudas, by simply wearing a basic watch, will actually create a certain style to your look.

Just look, although I am only wearing a simple lack tee and berms, with the complement of the watch, it actually adds some sort of style to the overall appearance. It makes you look simple yet not too sloppy at the same time.

There are also times when we wanna look a bit more like a party boy or something that's casual smart as well! So, for me, I would wear a basic black tee, accompanied by a pullover or a jacket, as you can see from the above picture.

As you all know that jackets usually cover up to our wrist, as such it will be a wiser choice for us to wear larger sized watches, so as to emphasise on that piece of accessory which we are wearing. Matching color with your overall outfit will definitely work better too!

The large sized watch actually creates the image that you're a fun and funky type of person! And that is definitely what you wanna achieve amongst the crowd of party! So, shine and showoff your looks with just that attention catching piece of watch, acting as an accessory too!

Going for a job interview or attending a formal function? That is when you need a watch that is able to pull off the professional look! And more that often not, metal watches are the best choice for us! With the relatively shiny exterior that it has, coupled with the professionally designed appearance, when we wear it, it will also display the professionalism of an individual as well.

Just take a look at the image above, doesn't the whole image of myself just changed? With the metal watch being worn at my wrist, it has indeed further enhanced and emphasised to people the fact that I am blending myself into a much more serious note and towards the professional aspect as well. It's just amazing how it can just a person's look and of course, creating a different personality too!

Are you going for a jog around your neighborhood or having some workout sessions in the gym? In such situations, the sports watch will be just what you need!

As I've mentioned earlier, watches are like accessories and they should actually help to bring out your overall look and not make you look weird or out of place. As such, going to sporting activities, we also do not want to look out of place, yet we would like to have a watch to keep track of the timing of our running or workout sessions as well. So it also boils down to practicality and the sense of style here too!

So recently, Casio Baby-G has released a series of newly designed watches that is gonna be available to all of us! They are funky, yet they are not overdone, such that it makes it suitable for most of us to wear! Being fashionable and not overdoing it is the essential key selling point that I see from this series of watch by Casio Baby-G!

Below are the watches that are being introduced!

Personally, these are my top 3 favourites (starting from the most well like):

I love [F] the most because I find that it is very unique in a sense that the design is very funky and colorful, yet I believe that it is suitable for most of the styles that we carry, from casual, to smart casual and even partying! And I feel that the striking colors that is being brought out from the black is very attention catching and it speaks of my loud and joyful personality too!

So I hope that you guys are able to see how watches are being used as a form of accessories in the modern society, given the wide range of choices that we are presented with. They do bring out the character within us and it is indeed something which we should all take note of when dressing for different occasions.

Remember that, fashion is no longer just about donning extravagant pieces of apparels, but also about the small details such the non attention seeking watch which we wear almost everyday! So, do experiment yourself at home and see what kinda style you can actually come up with, with the different watches, and how it can actually change your looks as well!

The Tastings Room

Few days back, I was glad to be invited by Calvin to attend a ood tasting session at this restaurant called, The Tastings Room. As introduced by Calvin, I was told that this restaurant is kinda special because for every single dish on the menu itself, they will introduce the different types of wine that actually complements with the dish. So, it's kinda interesting as I browsed through the menu and saw the carious types of wine being introduced.

Basically, we were there to try out their new menu, which is the brunch menu! Many of us often skipped breakfast and go straight to lunch, and this new menu might actually open up to you guys because they are affordable, even for students like me, yet they serve quality food with good presentation!

So, the first dish that was being served on the table was the truffle fries! They do not actually use authentic truffles, but rather work some way out by creating the same taste by just using truffle oil and truffle salt to prepare the dish. And I can assure you that they taste so heavenly and addictive that I kept on nomming non-stop!!! OMG! This is a MUST TRY appetiser!

And going along with it are the tartar sauce and their own unique tomato sauce which tasted a bit sour yet appetising!

This is definitely my TOP FAVORITE salad on Earth right now!!! This is their tomato salad! And it's very very sweet tasting with a tinge of sourness within. As you can see from the above picture, the presentation is all prepared very delicately, thus attracting consumers like me, to want to eat it! You gotta try this dish out yourself before you know, what is true salad!!! At least in my own opinion :D

Next, we tried out their brunch menu and this is the Egg Royale!

This dish is basically smoked salmon wrapped poached eggs and with generous blanket of chives smooth hpllandaise. Man, this is the first time I ate such a dish and it tasted heavenly too!!! Omg, this restaurant does serve good food people!

Within the smoked salmon, it's actually a poached egg, somewhat like those half boil eggs we eat usually. So when we take the first bite, the egg yolk will actually flow out. For me, I don't really like egg yolk taste, however I am surprised that I adore the flavor of the egg yolk here! I guess its the hollandaise dressing that actually covers up the smell of the egg yolk.

This is definitely a good brunch dish for us!

The next somewhat similar dish as the previous is the Poached Eggs In Red Wine Hollandaise!

For this dish, the egg is poached in falvourful concoction of red wine, veal broth and herbs. It is also served with crispy bacon as well! I am definitely a bacon lover, no doubt about that! And the hollandaise here is indeed tasty as well! However, personally I don't feel that the bacon fits into the dish here because it seems as though they are two seperate items when they are mean to be served together as one. Other than that, it taste wonderful!

This upcoming dishis definitely worth the money for you guys!!! It is the Ribeye Minutes Steak Club Sandwhich! The above picture is the actual serving of the whole dish and it costs under $20!

The sandwhich consists of quick seared minutes steak, sunny side up, bacon, cheddar cheese tomato as well as lettuce! And it is also served with the truffle fries! As you can see that the serving is very big, this could actually be a dish ordered and share between two! I love the steak because it is very tender and it is very juicy too!

With the cheddar cheese that's in between, the whole combination simply melts in your mouth! So, you have to try this as well! Maybe just that the whole sandwhich is too big such that we have to eat layers by layers, which might actually disrupt the intention of having everything at each mouth. But other than that, it taste yummy!

After all the heavy meal, we were served something that's lighter in terms of the serving, yet rich in flavor! It is the Quesadilla with choice of Smoked Salmon, "Sous Vide" Chicken or Mushroom, and we chose the one with mushroom!

In between the skin of the dish, we can see that there are mushroom stuffings, with mozerella cheese, tomato sauce as well as jalapeno! I think that this will b a great choice for ladies who want to have some light lunch yet rich in taste. The mushroom actually release some aroma which kinda lingers around the nose while we consume the food.

The mushroom taste isn't very strong to the extent in which it turns people off but rather it's the lingering aroma that hooks your appetite! Thumbs up!

This next dish is a very creative and unique creation of the restaurant! It is the Mushroom "Sous Vide" Chicken Breast with Mushroom Brown Rice.

On one look, it actually looks like just a simple dish with nothing special. If you realise, the name of this dish actually mentioned Chicken Breast, however it is being prepared in such a way that it does NOT taste like the texture of chicken breast but rather, it tasted like chicken thigh! That's simply amazing, because it tasted just like how chicken thigh will be like!

Smooth texture and does not have the rough texture, which makes it difficult for some people to chew one. It's simply amazing! And because nowadays, people are more into healthier choice of food, The Tastings Room has chosen brown rice to go along with it.

However, I feel that despite the fact that the dish is being prepared in a very unique manner, but brown rice might not actually be well accepted by the mass due to the difference in terms of the taste as well as the texture of the rice as it is very grainy. Also, it is kinda mushroom overload because the brown rice is being served with mushroom, and the chicken is the same as well. So, maybe lesser usage of mushroom will be better. And maybe mixed brown rice will be more well accepted in my own opinion.

Of course, ending off with some desserts and a pot of hot tea will be great which will aid in digestion too.

The one above is the Vanilla Creme Brulee! Many people might think that it is very hard for them to accept the strong vanilla taste however I find it to be otherwise in the one being served to us. The milky taste is not overwhelming as such I feel that it should be well accepted by the public too!

This is the Pan Cake with Berries~ The pancakes are home made and served hot with creme, mixed berries and maple syrup! Calvin and I both agree that the maple syrup tasted different and not that sweet. And I personally feel that the pancakes actually are very nice! They are so soft and it is much more filling as you can see from the size of each slice.

Yummy yummy, it's gonna be very sweet for a couple or two person to share this after a meal!

Lastly, we ended off the whole food tasting session with a pot of hot fragrance tea.

It was such a great pleasure to be able to go there to have a food tasting session! The environment was very nice, we chose the seat outside the restaurant as there wasn't any crowd at all. Thus, it's actually very relaxing and for a brunch, with the greenery and environment just right in front of us, it's definitely the best choice!

Food Tasting Session At Fish&Co.

So, I was invited to a food tasting session with 5 other Bloggers at Fish&Co. on Friday! I was pretty excited about the food tasting session basically because I heard that they are coming out with new menus and surprisingly, they are including chicken in their new menu!

Yes, you see it, they are including chicken in their meals!

But before that, Fish&Co. would like to present to the students out there their student meal, which are priced at affordable price of $6.95 nett! And it also comes along with a FREE drink!! You can choose to get hot beverages such as tea or coffee, coke/sprite, and not forgetting their all time hot favourite, Cola Tonic or Passion Fruit!

So, if you were to look carefully at the menu right above, you can actually spot some new interesting dishes that is included in the new student's meal menu! Some examples will include Chicken Burger and Chips, Sea Dog as well as Fried Boneless Chicken & Chips!

The main focus of the day will be on the dishes that highlights chicken as the main staple. And to be honest, I was looking forward to tasting hem because Fish&Co. has always been focusing on handling seafood products and no doubt, it is mad delicious! However, when it comes to chicken...Hmmmm.... Just can't wait to taste it!

But before that, Fish&Co. would also like to introduce this Student Loyalty Card to all of the lovely students out there! This student loyalty card will be issued to all the students who dine there!

What's awesome about this Student Loyalty Card is that, for every dish we order as stated at the back of the card, we will get a stamp. What we have to do is to collect all 6 of them, and we can get a free set of it for free during our seventh visit there! AWESOME!!!

However, all student meals and the Student Loyalty Card programme is only available in 3 outlets, mainly, at NEX, Jurong Point and Clementi Mall!

Besides the student meal, Fish&Co. also like to target towards the working adults as well! Lunch being served in set meals too!!! And by just topping up $1, as you can see from the above picture, you get to change your salad that comes along with the meal to the soup of the day!

And now, they have extended this offer time period to 5pm everyday!!! So you can also have your brunch there as well!

We were served the soup of the day which was the Mushroom Soup. And I totally LOVE this soup! Because it tastes different from the normal mushroom soup we taste outside! For this one, the mushroom is prepared in such a manner that there are chunks of mushroom bits in the soup, thus adding lots of texture and taste to the whole presentation! Thumbs up!

This is the salad that comes along with all the meals in the Happy Lunching Menu! We were told that Fish&Co. has tried to prepare the salad in such a way that they try not to make it sour such that it is more well accepted by the mass.

However, I feedback to them that it would actually be better for them to make it slightly sour such that it opens up the appetite of the consumer.

This is the all time classic top favorite which is the Captain's Hook! Namely, the fish and chips! Of course, there is definitely NO DOUBT in the taste of it!!! This is like their star selling dish! What can be wrong about it right?! HAHA!

Now this is the interesting one! It is actually the Fried Boneless Chicken and Chips, and the part that is being used in this dish is actually the thigh of the chicken. Personally, I feel that the thigh is being used because it is much more meaty and the texture is much more easier to accept as compared to the breast.

The taste is very good, because we can taste the crispiness of the fried skin of the chicken, yet the meat is very tender and juicy in some sense! As such there is like different texture in just that simple piece of meat. Crispy on the exterior and tender and soft on the inside!

From the Happy Lunching Menu, we also chose the seafood platter for 1 to fill our tummy! I totally love the fried calamari and the grilled fish, all being dressed with the lemon butter sauce!!! Yums yums!!!! This is a DIE DIE MUST TRY DISH!

I must say that this is an interesting dish, Sea Dog! I bet all of us have heard o hot dog before, but what about sea dog? Basically, this works on the concept of hotdog bun! Just like the hotdog bun, it is served with the hotog bun, but instead of using hotdog, Fish&Co. was creative enough to use the fish and chips!

On top of that, the taste of the fish was relatively spicy due to the spices that was being stuffed within! As such, it has such refreshing taste and being a fan of hot stuffs, I totally adore the dish!!!

Another chicken dish that was served was the Grilled Chicken served with Peri Peri Sauce! The Peri Peri sauce taste somewhat like the sambal chilli which we normally eat, just that it also tasted a bit sweet like the thai chilli sauce! And being dressed over the grilled chicken, it's quite a yummy combination!

However, I feel that the grilled chicken wasn't done to the best of their ability because it was very hard for us to slice the chicken and the texture tasted quite rough, making it rather difficult to chew as well.

Then, we also managed to try the Chicken Burger! The chicken here actually tasted much better as compared to the grilled chicken from the precious dish! The chicken used here actually has a smooth texture, almost the same as the terriyaki chicken that we eat in Japanese restaurant. Thus, making the whole burger very delicious and appetising!

Of course after all those heavy meals that we have, we must definitely end off with some desserts!!! YUMMY YUMMY! The one in the above is actually strawberry flavored! I do not really know how to put across it, it tasted somewhat like pudding yet it has a much more solid crunch to it. Overall, I would rate it 3/5!

And just in case you guys are wondering "WAH! Such nice food and all, but I cannot go because my friends are muslims or I am a muslim myself... :(" HEY! No more worries! Because, Fish&Co. has recently been Halal Certified because they no longer sell alcoholic products! And of course, all along they've not been serving pork!

SO HEY, YOU GUYS CAN HEAD DOWN TO FISH&CO. AND ENJOY!

Also, Fish&Co. has come up with a list of mocktails which tastes similar to the real actual deal, yet no alcohol was being used in the process of preparing them! So, we were lucky enough to get to taste some of them! The one above is Orange Rainbow, despite the name, I actually feel that it tasted more like mango instead :p

Also, I feel that it tasted too sweet for a mocktail, thus it's not very thirst quenching.

My New Bought Ringlight!

For those who follow me on Twitter, you would've noticed that I've recently purchased a ringlight! Honestly, I must say that I am motivated to get a ringlight due to the fact that our Blogger Queen, XiaXue, who introduced it back then!

And of course, more Bloggers are buying it as well! What to do? The photos taken with it are just so nice luh! Cannot stop myself from getting one as well! I bought mine from Sim Lim and only at $98, of course with barganing la! Haha so cheapo, but can save, JUST SAVE!

So, below are just some camwhore pictures of me, first time using the Ringlight to take photos! Still experimenting on how to capture better photos with the ringlight, and how to edit the color of the photos better. So it's still trial pictures. Don't judge too harshly ok? Hee hee.

And after those picture above, I decided to take photos with the ringlight facing the camera! Damn bo liao hor? But turned out not bad luh! HAHA!!!
